I created this piece for a screen printing class. We were asked to print an image onto a nonconventional piece of material. I chose this collaged image from a zine I made that combines human intestines and text that points to them, like in medical and scientific images, but instead of identifying what they are, it displays the phrase, "Is your blood authentic?" I printed this image as a two-layer image on a sheet of solidified liquid latex that mimics skin (left). I also printed it on toned paper (right).
